Privacy Policy

PokéTracker ("we", "us", "our") is a price tracking service for Pokémon products sold at Canadian stores. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

• Discord account info — your Discord username, user ID, and avatar, collected via Discord OAuth when you sign in. We do not collect your email unless Discord provides it as part of the OAuth flow.
• Search history — the products you search for, stored per-user so we can show your "Previously Tracked" list.
• Price alerts — the product name and target price you set, stored to send you notifications.
• Store comments — any notes you add to stores in the results table.
• Usage data — search counts and rate limit counters, stored in memory only and reset hourly. Not persisted to disk.

2. What we do NOT collect

• Passwords (we use Discord OAuth — no password is ever created or stored)
• Payment information (handled entirely by Whop)
• Precise location data (we do not store IP addresses beyond what your browser sends in standard HTTP requests)
• Browsing history outside of PokéTracker

3. How we use your data

• To authenticate you via Discord and maintain your session
• To show your personal "Previously Tracked" product list
• To send you price alert Discord DMs when a product drops to your target price
• To enforce per-user rate limits (search counts reset hourly)

4. Third-party services

• Discord — used for login (OAuth) and alert notifications (DMs). Subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.
• Whop — used for subscription management. Subject to Whop's Privacy Policy.
• Fly.io — our hosting provider. Your data is stored on servers operated by Fly.io.

5. Data retention

We retain your search history, alerts, and account info for as long as your account is active. Price history data (store prices scraped over time) is retained for up to 90 days. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us on Discord.

6. Your rights

You may request to view, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us via our Discord server and we will respond within 7 days.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord server.
